MA1 connects to multiple literacies because it shows how literacy can exist across languages, cultures, institutions, and social situations. My experiences with Spanish, Hebrew, English, school, the army, and UCF all required different forms of communication. This assignment also connects to writing processes because I had to turn personal memories into structured academic reflection. I could not simply tell my life story. I had to organize it around concepts like literacy sponsors and Discourse. That required adaptation, revision, and critical thinking.
